We don't use tracking cookies

CalcPro is built privacy-first. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind. This policy explains exactly what we do and don't store on your device. Unlike most websites that load dozens of tracking cookies before you even interact with the page, CalcPro loads zero cookies on initial visit. The only storage we use is a single localStorage entry for your theme preference.

CalcPro uses a single localStorage entry: • calcpro-theme — Stores your dark/light mode preference ("light" or "dark") localStorage is not a cookie. It is a browser API that stores data locally on your device. This data: • Never expires • Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party • Is only accessible by calc.toolly.site • Can be cleared at any time from your browser settings We do not use localStorage for tracking, analytics, or behavioral profiling.

We explicitly do NOT use: • Tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) • Advertising cookies (Google Ads, DoubleClick, etc.) • Session cookies (we have no user accounts) • Third-party cookies of any kind • Fingerprinting techniques • Browser fingerprinting scripts • Cross-site tracking pixels Our HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are served from our own domain. We do not load third-party scripts that could set cookies.

Two third-party services are used on specific calculator pages: 1. Exchange Rate API (exchangerate-api.com) Used by: Currency Converter only Cookies set: None — the API is called via a direct HTTP request from your browser. No cookies are exchanged. 2. Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) Used by: All pages for Inter font family Cookies set: None — font files are static assets. Google does not set cookies for font requests. Neither of these services sets cookies on your device when you use CalcPro.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), cookies that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the website do not require prior consent. Our theme preference storage falls under this category — it is necessary for the website to function as you expect (remembering your dark/light mode choice). Since we do not use any non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, or advertising), we are not required to show a cookie consent banner. We choose not to show one because there is nothing to consent to. Your rights under GDPR: • Right to information: This page serves as that information • Right to access: No personal data is stored in our localStorage • Right to erasure: Clear your browser data to remove the theme preference • Right to object: No processing occurs that you could object to

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have rights regarding their personal information. Since CalcPro does not collect personal information through cookies or any other means: • We do not sell personal information (we don't have any to sell) • We do not share personal information with third parties • We do not use personal information for targeted advertising No "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link is required because we do not collect or sell personal information.

To remove the CalcPro theme preference from your device: Chrome / Edge: Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data > Cookies and other site data Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove calc.toolly.site Alternatively, you can open Developer Tools (F12) > Application > Local Storage > calc.toolly.site and delete the entry manually.

If we ever add cookies or change our storage practices, we will update this policy immediately and prominently. We will never silently add tracking cookies to CalcPro — our privacy-first commitment is a core principle, not a marketing claim. If we add optional features in the future that require cookies (such as saving calculation history), they will be strictly opt-in with clear consent mechanisms.
